In 2006 and 2007,
the TRBCA spearheaded a series of
visioning meetings in which residents,
business and property owners developed
guidelines and standards working with
the TEDC, the Township of Teaneck and
the consulting engineering firm of
Christopher Statile and Company planned
the upgrading of eight intersections
from Route 4 to Tryon Avenue. This
"Futurescape" plan now has
drawings done by the consulting
engineers Statile and Company and is in
the process of grant funding
applications.
