“Teaneck Festival of Arts”
(TFOA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a dynamic cultural arts center in Teaneck, reflecting the rich heritage of our diverse community. In cooperation with schools, businesses and local organizations, TFOA will feature renowned and emerging artists presenting innovative programming in music, dance, theater, comedy, film, visual arts and education for all ages.

Friday, November 14 – Sunday, November 16
Feature films, shorts, and documentaries from around the world, plus NY International Children’s Film Festival selections, celebrity guests, and special events are included in the third and most exciting Teaneck International Film Festival at the Cedar Lane Cinemas and other local venues. Saturday night, November 15, TIFF and the Teaneck Festival of the Arts present the 1920 film, The Golem, with music written by the BQE Project and performed by their orchestra. Tickets for this program only are $20. Weekend passes, are $25, one-day passes are $15, and individual movie tickets are $5 (passes and individual tickets exclude The Golem). Thanks to a grant from Target, admission is free to family-friendly films for children 12 and under. Check the website –

3rd Teaneck International Film Fest
Set for November 14-16, 2008. Like so many other events in Teaneck, the idea of a film festival emerged in Spring 2005 out of discussions among ordinary citizens. With the support of the nonprofit organization Puffin Foundation, a small group of dedicated volunteers set out to create an event that would present a collection of compelling and imaginative feature-length films, documentaries and shorts -- from a variety of cultures; foster cross-cultural connections; honor talented young Bergen County filmmakers; and encourage filmgoers to rediscover Teaneck 's appeal as a shopping and dining destination.
We hope you were among the nearly 1,500 people who had a chance to see a film or two (or more) at our Nov. '07 event. It was great fun and filled with unforgettable moments, with a combination of terrific films and compelling Q&A's and discussions with very special guests, including John Sayles, Maggie Renzi and actor Tom Wright at the opening night presentation of the New Jersey premiere of "Honeydripper." What will we do for an encore? We're already planning the third Teaneck International Film Festival, scheduled for Nov. 14-16, 2008. Once again, we will offer a weekend of outstanding feature films, documentaries, shorts and award-winning student films, seasoned with parties, panels, guest appearances and more.
