The members of the Board of Trustees of the Teaneck Economic Development Center are a group of dedicated merchants, property owners, and representatives from Teaneck who hold the common interest of substantially enhancing the local economy and overall business climate in Teaneck. They are supported in their desire to create a thriving and successful city by the skilled and enthusiastic professionals on the corporation’s management team.

Terry Mack-Hunter - Senior Construction Project Manager, NYC Construction Authority (Secretary)
Hunter has worked for the past 20 years in New York City as a Construction Project Manager mainly in the area of residential construction. 

She has a diploma in construction project management from Mechanic's Institute in N.Y and has completed Construction Managment Studies at New York University, School of Continuing Education. A Teaneck native and graduate of Teaneck HS, she moved back to Teaneck since 1996 after living in the midwest for many years. 

Robert A. Barea - Regional Chief Recruiter, United States Army
Rob Barea serves on the TEDC as well as the Site Plan Advisory Board. He currently commands the Teaneck Armory National Guard Recruiting Station. He was Active Army where he served with honor for 10 years, receiving a series of awards culminating with the Meritorious Service Medal for his service overseas. In 2001, he left the Active Army and became a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard as a Recruiter. He has enlisted over 100 individuals and maintains a positive relationship with his enlistees as well as their family members. While in the NJ Army National Guard, Rob Barea has received his B.S.B.A from Nichols College and his M.B.A from Liberty University. He currently is pursuing his PhD in Management and hopes to retire from the military in 4 years. Barea is a resident of Teaneck where he lives in the Northeast section with his wife and two sons.

Lillian Lewis - Resident
Lewis recently retired after teaching for thirty years at New York City's Harry S Truman and De Witt Clinton High Schools. She has an MA in Mathematics and Mathematical Education from Columbia University's Teachers College and a BA in Math from Lehman College. 

She is the wife of Oscar J. Lewis Sr. and mother of three children, Dr. Oscar J. Lewis Jr., Yvette W. Lewis-Williams Esq.and Educator Seleene Raquel Wong.
